Job Title: Junior DevOps Engineer
Experience: 6 Months – 1 Year

Job Description

- Assist in managing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of applications on Linux servers.
- Work with Git, GitHub, and GitLab for version control and repository management.
- Assist in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Support GitOps practices for automated and consistent deployments using tools like ArgoCD/FluxCD.
- Help manage virtualization environments using Proxmox VE.
- Gain hands-on exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP as applicable).
- Assist with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Support setup and monitoring using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Write basic automation scripts using Bash/Python/Shell scripting.
- Assist with reverse proxy and web server configuration (Nginx/Apache).
- Support Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD pipeline configuration and maintenance.
- Perform basic server management, configuration, and troubleshooting tasks.




- Collaborate with the development and DevOps team on real-time projects under guidance from senior engineers/team lead.
- Maintain proper documentation of processes, configurations, and deployments.
- Follow company processes, best practices, and security guidelines.

Requirements

- 6 months to 1 year of hands-on or internship experience in DevOps or related fields.
- Basic understanding of Linux core concepts and command-line operations.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows (GitHub/GitLab).
- Exposure to Docker and basic Kubernetes knowledge.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Bash/Python) is a plus.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus/Grafana) is a plus.
- Exposure to IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible) is a plus.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Robust willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
- Good communication skills and a positive, collaborative attitude.
