Role : Medical Transcriptionist

Location : Rajinder Place, Current Delhi

Salary : Based on skill, qualification & Experience

Job Responsibilities:

1. Transcribe dictated recordings from physicians, surgeons, and consultants including history & physical examinations, discharge summaries, operative notes, consultation reports, and diagnostic/radiology reports.

2. Review and edit documents for grammatical accuracy, clarity, and consistency with medical terminology and hospital formatting standards.

3. Interpret medical abbreviations, drug names, and specialty-specific terminology accurately.

4. Maintain and update patient records in physical files and within the hospital’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.

5. Identify and flag inconsistencies, incomplete dictations,



or discrepancies to the concerned physician for clarification.

6. Ensure all documentation meets hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and patient confidentiality standards.

7. Deliver completed reports within specified turnaround times.

8. Uphold strict confidentiality of all patient information at all times.

Qualification:

Diploma/ Certificate in Medical Transcription or a related field. Sound knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology and pharmacology.Excellent typing speed and accuracy
