About the Role

Denz Enterprises is looking for a Junior Merchandiser to join our merchandising team and work closely with international buyers and our internal manufacturing teams.

This is a hard-goods / metal product merchandising role involving architectural and decorative hardware. The Junior Merchandiser will support the complete product and order cycle — from buyer requirements, product development and costing through sampling, production follow-up, quality inspection and shipment coordination.

The role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable coordinating across multiple departments in a manufacturing and export environment.

SIGNIFICANT

This is NOT a textile, apparel or soft-furnishing merchandising role.

Candidates with experience in architectural hardware, builder’s hardware, door hardware, furniture hardware, bathroom hardware, metal products, engineering products or other hard goods will be preferred.

Candidates whose experience is limited to garments, apparel, textiles, fashion, home textiles, fabrics or soft furnishings will not be considered.

Our manufacturing processes include casting, forging, CNC/VMC machining, conventional machining, grinding, buffing and polishing, electroplating, powder coating, assembly and packing.

The Junior Merchandiser will therefore work in an environment where understanding the relationship between product design, materials, manufacturing processes, quality and delivery is important.

Key Responsibilities1. Buyer Coordination & Communication

- Assist in handling day-to-day communication with international buyers.
- Understand buyer requirements, specifications, drawings, samples and product expectations.
- Maintain organized records of buyer communication, approvals, revisions and commitments.
- Follow up with buyers for pending approvals, comments and information.
- Ensure buyer requirements are clearly communicated to the relevant internal teams.
- Support senior merchandisers in managing buyer relationships and order requirements.

2. New Product Development

- Coordinate with the NPD / Design / Engineering team on new product development.




- Follow up on samples, prototypes, modifications and development timelines.
- Track product development milestones and ensure agreed dates are followed.
- Coordinate buyer feedback and revisions with internal teams.
- Maintain development trackers and ensure pending actions are followed up.
- Understand basic product drawings, dimensions, specifications, finishes and materials.

3. Costing & Quotations

- Assist in preparing product costings and quotations.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to understand:
- Raw material requirements
- Manufacturing processes
- Finishes
- Packaging
- Tooling / development requirements
- Other product-related costs
- Maintain costing records and update quotations based on buyer revisions.
- Support senior merchandisers in commercial discussions and costing follow-ups.

4. Order Processing & Internal Handover

- Assist with processing customer purchase orders and order requirements.
- Check quantities, specifications, finishes, packaging requirements and delivery dates.
- Ensure all relevant information is correctly communicated to PPC, Procurement, NPD, Production and QC.
- Maintain order documentation and trackers.
- Support proper handover of confirmed orders into production.

5. Production Follow-up

The Junior Merchandiser will be required to actively follow up on orders after they are released for production.

Coordinate with:

- PPC / Planning
- Procurement
- NPD / Engineering
- Machine Shop
- Plating
- Powder Coating
- Packing
- QC
- Logistics & Export Documentation

Responsibilities include:

- Track production progress against committed shipment dates.
- Follow up on work orders and pending production activities.
- Identify delays or bottlenecks.
- Escalate important delays to the senior merchandiser / HOD.
- Maintain updated order and shipment trackers.
- Provide regular status updates to the relevant internal teams.

6. Quality & Inspection Coordination

- Coordinate with QC to ensure products are manufactured according to buyer specifications.
- Assist in scheduling third-party inspections where required.
- Follow up on inspection results, approvals and corrective actions.
- Ensure buyer-specific quality requirements are communicated to the relevant teams.




- Track pending inspection and approval activities.

7. Shipment Coordination

- Maintain weekly shipment progress reports.
- Track planned versus actual production and dispatch dates.
- Coordinate with PPC, QC, Packing and Logistics to ensure orders are ready for shipment.
- Highlight potential shipment delays in advance.
- Assist in ensuring required documentation and approvals are available before dispatch.

8. Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain accurate order, development and shipment trackers.
- Prepare weekly progress reports for the HOD / management.
- Keep buyer communication, approvals, specifications and order records organized.
- Ensure information is updated accurately in ERP / internal systems where applicable.
- Follow up consistently on all open actions until closure.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

- A graduate from a relevant discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, product development, order coordination or a similar role.
- Interested in working with manufactured physical products, particularly hard goods / metal products.
- Comfortable coordinating with multiple departments and following up consistently.
- Strong in communication and written English.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Comfortable working with Excel, ERP systems and reporting trackers.
- Able to manage multiple products/orders and deadlines simultaneously.
- Willing to work in a manufacturing / factory environment in Noida.
- Comfortable learning technical product information, manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
