The Gyanada International School is seeking a skilled and dedicated Computer Teacher to join our team. As a Computer Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching computer literacy and computer science education to students. This is a full-time position with a focus on providing quality education to students in the field of computers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience in teaching computer science or a related field.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of computer literacy and computer science concepts.
- Ability to teach and explain complex computer science topics to students.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- ESL teaching experience is a plus.
- Cultural awareness and ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Passion for education and making a positive impact on students' lives.
- Positive organizational and time management skills.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using educational technology.
- Valid teaching certification is preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver computer science lessons to students.
- Teach students about computer literacy and basic computer skills.
- Explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Provide hands-on training and guidance to students in computer laboratories.
- Develop lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Evaluate and assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer science education.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
