Job Description – Senior AV Engineer (UAE Operations)

Position Summary

The Senior AV Engineer will provide senior on-site engineering support for the complete audio-visual system, keeping all spaces fully operational and meeting-ready, resolving faults within contracted response times, and acting as the day-to-day technical point of contact with the client. The role covers LED video walls, conferencing and discussion systems, audio, control and room-booking systems across all client rooms and event spaces, and includes supervision of the AV Technicians. This position is open to Indian candidates for deployment to the UAE; the company will arrange and bear the cost of visa, travel and housing for the selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations & Event Support

- Provide daily operational support for all AV systems, ensuring rooms are tested and ready ahead of scheduled meetings and events.
- Operate and support executive-level meetings, board sessions, signing ceremonies, town halls and VIP events, including rehearsal, content loading, source switching, audio mixing, recording and streaming.
- Oversee set-up, operation and dismantling of portable LED video walls and associated staging, directing the AV Technicians.
- Support end users on room control interfaces, wireless presentation, video conferencing and the room-booking system.

2. Maintenance & Fault Rectification

- Deliver first-line fault diagnosis and rectification across all AV subsystems, meeting contracted response and repair service levels, 24x7.
- Carry out preventive health checks on schedule and issue written reports to the client.
- Manage the on-site spares inventory, including LED spare cabinets and modules, and perform LED cabinet/module replacement and re-calibration.
- Escalate to second-line support and manufacturer technical support, raise and track RMAs, and fit temporary replacement devices where needed.
- Maintain an accurate fault, action and asset log,



and issue periodic availability and performance reports.

3. Software, Firmware & IT Security

- Apply firmware updates, software patches and security remediation across all IP-connected AV devices in line with client IT security policy.
- Manage licence renewals for control, conferencing, signage and room-booking platforms and keep the licence register current.
- Maintain the remote asset monitoring platform, act on alerts, and keep device inventories and network documentation up to date.
- Support IT security reviews, vulnerability assessments and audit requests relating to the AV system.

4. Configuration & System Changes

- Perform configuration changes and minor programming on the audio DSP, control system, matrix switching and video wall processors.
- Maintain and version-control all configuration files, GUI layouts, source code and as-built documentation.
- Test and validate all changes before release, and update documentation accordingly.

5. Client Interface, Training & Governance

- Act as the day-to-day technical point of contact for the client and end users.
- Deliver periodic training for client technical staff and users on system operation, maintenance and critical-event handling.
- Supervise and develop the assigned AV Technicians, including task allocation, method statements and quality checks.
- Comply fully with site HSE policy, permit-to-work procedures, PPE requirements and waste management.
- Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality appropriate to an executive and VIP environment.

Qualifications & Experience

- AVIXA CTS certification – valid and current. CTS-I or CTS-D is an advantage.




- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, IT or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 7 years' professional AV experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead on-site support role.
- Demonstrable hands-on experience with fine-pitch LED video walls, including cabinet replacement, module swap and calibration.
- Working knowledge of audio DSP configuration and control system programming (Q-SYS, Crestron, Extron or equivalent).
- Sound understanding of networked AV, IP addressing, VLANs and audio networking protocols.
- Proven experience supporting corporate, government or executive environments with live events and board-level meetings.
- Fluent written and spoken English, with solid report writing and client communication skills.
- Willing to relocate to the UAE; a valid driving license is an advantage.

Compensation & Relocation Support (for Indian Candidates)

This role is open to candidates based in India who are willing to relocate to the UAE. The company will fully manage and bear the cost of the following:

- UAE employment visa and related government processing
- One-way travel from India to the UAE for the selected candidate
- Company-provided housing/accommodation in the UAE

Candidates should be prepared to relocate on short notice once the offer and visa formalities are confirmed.

Pay: Up to ₹200,000.00 per month
