Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive – Electrical with 1–3 years of experience to manage day-to-day purchasing activities for electrical materials and consumables. The candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, quotation collection, price negotiation, purchase orders, and timely material delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day purchase activities for electrical materials and consumables.
- Identify and coordinate with suppliers and vendors.
- Collect quotations and prepare quotation comparison statements.
- Negotiate with vendors for price, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs).
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor pending and open Purchase Orders.
- Coordinate with Stores and other internal departments regarding material requirements.
- Maintain vendor records, quotations, purchase orders, and purchase-related documents.




- Develop new vendors and maintain good relationships with existing suppliers.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery delays, shortages, replacements, and other purchase-related issues.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and ensure competitive purchasing.
- Ensure materials are purchased as per approved requirements and company procedures.

Required Skills

- 1–3 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement, preferably in electrical materials.
- Knowledge of electrical materials and consumables is preferred.
- Good vendor negotiation and coordination skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with ERP / Purchase software is an advantage.
- Good communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple vendors.

Qualification

Diploma / Any Degree / B.E. / B.Tech with relevant Purchase experience.
