**About the Role**

We are looking for a Beginner to Intermediate level **Sound Engineer** to work on audio drama episodes and promotional content similar to audio shows like Pocket FM/ audible/ Kuku FM productions. The candidate will be responsible for editing, cleaning, processing, mixing, and delivering high-quality, broadcast-ready audio while maintaining consistency across episodes and promos.

**Key Responsibilities** *

Edit and assemble dialogue, narration, SFX, and background music for audio drama episodes. * Clean and process voice recordings to achieve clear and professional dialogue. * Perform noise reduction, EQ, compression, de-essing, leveling, and other basic vocal processing. * Add and balance sound effects and background music according to the scene and script. * Mix complete episodes and promos while maintaining proper voice, music, and SFX balance. * Create engaging audio promos/trailers with appropriate pacing, transitions, music, and sound effects. * Follow given scripts, references, audio guidelines, and production requirements. * Maintain consistent loudness, clarity, and overall sound quality across episodes. * Identify and fix common audio issues such as noise, clipping, distortion, uneven levels, and unwanted gaps. * Export final files in the required formats and specifications.



* Make revisions based on feedback from the production/content team. **Requirements** * Basic to intermediate knowledge of audio editing and mixing. * Hands-on experience with any professional DAW such as **FL Studio, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Adobe Audition, Reaper**, etc. * Understanding of EQ, compression, noise reduction, reverb, delay, and basic vocal processing. * Good understanding of dialogue editing and music/SFX balancing. * Good listening skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work with deadlines and handle multiple episodes/projects. * Freshers with strong practical knowledge and a good audio portfolio may also apply. **Preferred** * Experience working on podcasts, audio dramas, radio, YouTube, OTT, or other spoken-word content. * Experience creating promos, trailers, or short-form audio content. * Knowledge of loudness standards and professional audio delivery. * Experience working with Hindi/Indian-language audio content is a plus.
