Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and research-oriented Proposal Writer to support Ashray Foundation’s fundraising and program development efforts. The role will focus on developing high-quality proposals and concept notes for international donors, foundations, CSR partners and institutional funders, while also conducting research to identify current funding opportunities and strengthen program ideas. The person will closely work with the leadership team to translate Ashray’s work and experience into meaningful proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Research, identify, and develop well-researched, clearly written, accurate concept notes and proposals for international donors, foundations, CSR partners, institutional funders, funding calls and grant opportunities.




- Conduct primary and secondary research on sector trends, studies, SDGs and emerging areas.
- Identify and map international and domestic RFPs and potential funding opportunities.
- Maintain a structured database of prospective funders, funding opportunities, proposal deadlines, submissions and follow-ups.

Qualifications:

- Master’s or higher degree in Liberal Arts/ Mass Communication and Journalism or any related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in proposal/ grant writing, research and development, consulting or a similar role in the social sector.
- Excellent command over spoken and written English.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
