JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for an experienced Freight Broker with hands-on experience in the US Logistics / US Freight Brokerage industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the US trucking and freight market, including working with US shippers, carriers, load boards, rate negotiations, and shipment coordination.

The candidate will be responsible for sourcing and booking loads, negotiating rates with carriers, managing shipments from pickup to delivery, and developing strong relationships with US-based shippers and carriers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with shippers, carriers, and trucking companies.

- Source and book loads using US freight load boards and identify reliable carrier capacity.

- Negotiate rates with shippers and carriers while maintaining healthy profit margins.

- Manage shipments end-to-end, from pickup to delivery, including tracking and regular updates.

- Handle rate confirmations, PODs, carrier documents, and other freight-related paperwork.

- Resolve shipment issues such as delays, detention, breakdowns, and rate discrepancies.

- Develop and maintain a strong shipper and carrier network.





- Meet targets related to load booking, revenue, margins, and business development.

REQUIREMENTS:

- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in US Freight Brokerage / US Logistics.

- Experience with shippers, carriers, trucking companies, and freight operations.

- Good knowledge of US freight lanes, equipment types, and carrier operations.

- Hands-on experience with US load boards and TMS platforms.

- Strong understanding of rate negotiations, rate confirmations, POD, detention, layover, TONU, and other US freight terms.

- Excellent English communication, negotiation, sales, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
