SITE ENGINEER – JOB DESCRIPTION

1. JOB SUMMARY

The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and coordinating construction activities at the project site, ensuring work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSite Execution

- Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and site workers.
- Monitor progress against project schedules and planned milestones.
- Identify and resolve site-related issues in coordination with the Project Manager.

Quality Control

- Ensure construction work meets required quality standards.
- Inspect materials and workmanship at different stages of construction.
- Coordinate inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
- Maintain proper site quality records and documentation.

Drawings & Technical Coordination

- Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Coordinate with consultants and project teams regarding technical requirements.
- Identify discrepancies in drawings and communicate them to the concerned team.
- Ensure approved revisions are implemented at site.

Quantity & Material Management

- Verify quantities of materials required for site activities.
- Monitor material usage and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate material requirements with the procurement team.
- Check deliveries and ensure proper storage of construction materials.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with site safety procedures and company policies.
- Monitor safe working practices among workers and contractors.




- Report unsafe conditions and incidents to the concerned authority.
- Support implementation of safety and environmental requirements.

Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports.
- Maintain site records, measurements, inspection reports, and work documentation.
- Track work progress and highlight delays or potential risks.
- Maintain proper records of labour, materials, and site activities.

Coordination

- Coordinate with Project Managers, Architects, Consultants, Contractors, and internal departments.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical updates.
- Support project planning, execution, and timely completion.

3. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering..
- Experience in residential construction / real estate projects will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.

4. REQUIRED SKILLS

- Strong knowledge of construction and site execution.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of construction materials and methods.
- Basic knowledge of quantity estimation and measurements.
- Good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability.
- Valuable time-management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.

- Timely completion of assigned site activities.
- Quality of construction work.
- Compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Effective material and resource utilization.
- Site safety compliance.
- Accuracy of measurements and documentation.
- Coordination with contractors and project teams.
- Minimization of rework, delays, and material wastage.

Confidentiality: The Site Engineer shall maintain confidentiality of company, project, client, technical, and commercial information and comply with all applicable company policies and procedures.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
