Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our Quality team and support the inspection and quality control of castings. The candidate will be responsible for visual and dimensional inspection, maintaining quality records, and supporting customer and export-related quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of castings during in-process and final inspection.
- Check castings for defects such as cracks, blow holes, porosity, surface defects, etc.
- Perform dimensional inspection as per engineering drawings, specifications, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Handle measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, etc.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and quality specifications.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.




- Support R3 / customer quality requirements and export inspection activities.
- Coordinate with the Production and Quality teams regarding quality issues and corrective actions.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of inspection instruments.
- Prepare basic reports using MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Communicate inspection results through email and maintain proper documentation.
- Follow company quality procedures, safety requirements, and standard operating practices.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of casting inspection and quality control.
- Knowledge of dimensional inspection and measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Good email and computer operating skills.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing / plant setting.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
