Job Overview:-

Devant IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Senior Software Tester with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in manual software testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, performance, and reliability of web and mobile applications through systematic testing and effective defect management.

The role requires strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate effectively with development and project teams.

Key Responsibilities: -

- Perform comprehensive manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Analyze business and functional requirements to identify testing needs.
- Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Execute Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and UI testing.
- Identify, document, prioritize, and track software defects through bug-tracking tools.
- Perform defect re-testing and verification after fixes.
- Conduct cross-browser and basic device/application compatibility testing.
- Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA feedback at early stages of development.
- Collaborate with developers, project coordinators, and other stakeholders to resolve application issues.
- Maintain accurate test documentation, test reports, and QA records.




- Monitor testing progress and communicate defects, risks, and quality concerns to the reporting manager.
- Support release validation and ensure applications meet defined quality standards before deployment.
- Contribute to improving testing processes, documentation, and overall QA practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications: -

- 2–3 years of professional experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
- Strong understanding of Manual Testing concepts and methodologies.
- Valuable knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Hands-on experience in creating Test Cases and Test Scenarios.
- Practical knowledge of:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Smoke Testing
- Sanity Testing
- Integration Testing
- UI Testing
- Experience with bug/issue tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or similar platforms.
- Good understanding of web and mobile application testing.
- Basic knowledge of API Testing is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
