1. Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Store Manager to oversee the complete store operations in a textile manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for inventory management, material receipt and issuance, stock accuracy, material planning, warehouse management, and coordination with Production, Purchase, Accounts, and other departments.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Inventory & Stock Management

- Manage the overall inventory of raw materials, packing materials, consumables, spare parts, and other store items.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of stock records and inventory registers.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely availability of materials for production and maintenance.
- Implement and maintain FIFO/FEFO practices wherever applicable.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.

B. Store Operations

- Supervise the receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Ensure proper documentation of GRN, material requisitions, material issue slips, and stock transfers.
- Maintain proper storage arrangements, material identification, and location-wise inventory records.
- Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration.

C. Team Management

- Lead, supervise, and manage the stores team, including storekeepers and assistants.
- Allocate duties and monitor employee performance.
- Ensure discipline, productivity, and adherence to established store procedures.

D. Coordination & Material Planning

- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Accounts departments.
- Ensure timely material availability to avoid production interruptions.
- Follow up on pending purchase orders, shortages, and critical inventory items.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, excess, and obsolete inventory.

E. Systems & Documentation

- Maintain accurate inventory data in ERP/software and Excel.
- Prepare daily, weekly,



and monthly inventory reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability of material transactions.
- Support internal audits, stock audits, and inventory reconciliation.

F. Safety & Compliance

- Ensure proper housekeeping and 5S practices within the stores.
- Maintain safe material-handling and storage practices.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable safety procedures.

3. Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of stores and inventory management in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in textile, spinning, or related manufacturing industries.
- Good leadership, team management, and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, inventory software, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage stock accuracy, material movement, and warehouse operations efficiently.

4. Eligibility Criteria

- Experience: 10–15 years of relevant experience in stores and inventory management.
- Industry: Manufacturing, preferably textiles, spinning, or a related industry.
- Age: 35 years and above.
- Location: Candidates willing to work at the company's manufacturing facility in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
- Preference: Candidates with experience managing stores operations in a textile manufacturing unit.

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation.
- Timely availability of materials for production and maintenance.
- Reduction in material shortages and stock discrepancies.
- Control of excess, obsolete, and non-moving inventory.
- Accuracy and timeliness of store documentation and reporting.
- Compliance with FIFO/FEFO and established inventory procedures.
- Stores team productivity, discipline, and housekeeping.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
