Project Manager – Civil & Interior Fit-Out Projects

Job Summary
The Project Manager – Civil & Interiors is responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of commercial, corporate, retail, hospitality, healthcare, and residential interior fit-out projects. The role oversees civil construction, interior works, MEP coordination, contractor management, quality assurance, budget control, and client engagement to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution

Lead multiple civil and interior fit-out projects from concept to handover.
Develop project schedules, resource plans, budgets, and execution strategies.
Establish project milestones and monitor progress against agreed timelines.
Manage project delivery while ensuring adherence to client specifications and contractual obligations.

Site Management

Supervise day-to-day site operations and construction activities.
Ensure effective coordination among contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, safety, and productivity.
Resolve site challenges proactively to avoid schedule delays.

Client & Stakeholder Management

Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders.
Conduct project review meetings and provide progress updates.
Manage customer expectations and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
Handle project escalations, change requests, and scope modifications.

Budget & Cost Control

Prepare and monitor project budgets and cash flow plans.
Track project costs, variations, and change orders.
Review contractor bills, vendor payments, and cost estimates.
Identify cost-saving opportunities without impacting quality.





Contractor & Vendor Management

Manage procurement activities and vendor selection.
Evaluate contractor performance against project requirements.
Ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and resources.
Negotiate contracts and manage commercial aspects of project execution.

Quality Management

Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Implement quality control procedures across all project phases.
Conduct snagging and quality audits before project handover.
Ensure proper documentation and project closeout.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure implementation of workplace health and safety standards.
Monitor compliance with local building regulations and statutory requirements.
Promote a strong safety culture across sites.
Conduct safety reviews and corrective action planning.

Reporting & Documentation

Maintain project schedules, dashboards, and progress reports.
Present project status, risks, and financial performance to leadership.
Prepare weekly and monthly project reports.
Drive project closure documentation and lessons learned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related discipline.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred.

Experience

8-15 years of experience in civil construction and interior fit-out projects.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
Proven experience managing corporate office fit-outs, commercial buildings, retail, hospitality, healthcare, or residential projects.




Experience handling projects ranging from ₹5 Cr to ₹100+ Cr preferred.

A seasoned Project Manager with 10-15 years of experience in Civil Construction and Interior Fit-Out Projects , capable of managing large-scale workplace, commercial, retail, or hospitality projects, driving execution excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and profitable project delivery. Suitable for Senior Manager / Associate Director level roles.
