Job Title : Data Engineer (MS Fabric + Power BI)

Location : Cochin, India (Full-time)

Role Summary :

We are looking for a Data Engineer with strong Power BI expertise and exposure to Microsoft Fabric to build and scale our enterprise data platform. This role will be responsible for designing data models, enabling reporting, and laying the foundation for analytics. The ideal candidate will have a hybrid skillset across data engineering and BI development, enabling both backend data preparation and front-end reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering & Platform

- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehousing)
- Integrate data from multiple sources: MS Dynamics 365 Data Entity, SQL databases, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.
- Perform data transformation, cleansing, and structuring for reporting.
- Ensure data quality through validation, reconciliation, and monitoring

Data Modelling & BI

- Develop star schema data models for scalable reporting.
- Build and manage datasets in

Power BI Service

- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and governance best practices .
- Optimize performance of data models and reports Visualization & Analytics.
- Create intuitive dashboards with strong storytelling and visualization principles.




- Translate business requirements into clear analytical insights.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and metrics

Platform Administration

- Manage Power BI Service environments (workspaces, gateways, access control)
- Handle deployment and lifecycle management

Required Skills

- Solid experience with Power BI (Desktop + Service)
- Hands-on experience or exposure to Microsoft Fabric
- Proficiency in SQL and data querying.
- Expertise in data modelling (star schema, relationships).
- Experience with data transformation (Power Query, ETL concepts)

BI & Analytics Skills

- Strong data visualization and storytelling ability.
- Experience connecting to enterprise data sources (SQL, cloud, APIs).
- Knowledge of data validation and reconciliation techniques.
- Advanced Excel (as a data source and for analysis).
- Understanding of finance and supply chain domains.
- Familiarity with Azure ecosystem.

Experience: 2-4 years

Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9:00 AM to 6.00 PM
