Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Head – Civil Construction with 15+ years of hands-on experience in civil construction project execution.

The candidate will be responsible for the complete planning, execution, monitoring and successful completion of civil construction projects, including manpower, contractors, materials, quality, safety, cost control and client coordination.

We are looking for a solid, hands-on site professional who can independently manage projects, lead teams and resolve technical and execution-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage civil construction projects from planning and mobilization through final handover.
- Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, equipment and resources.
- Ensure projects are completed within the agreed time, budget and quality requirements.
- Supervise RCC, foundation, structural, masonry, plastering and finishing works.
- Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Monitor reinforcement, shuttering, concreting and other major civil activities.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants and subcontractors.
- Manage civil contractors and subcontractors effectively.
- Review BOQ, quantities, measurements, contractor bills and material requirements.
- Control project costs, material wastage and rework.
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly project progress.
- Identify delays, risks and technical issues and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and manage Site Engineers, Supervisors, QA/QC personnel and project staff.
- Ensure construction quality as per approved drawings, specifications and standards.
- Ensure proper implementation of site safety procedures.
- Conduct regular site meetings and project review meetings.




- Prepare project progress reports for management.
- Coordinate inspections, approvals, testing and final project handover.

Required Experience & Skills

- 15+ years of relevant civil construction experience.
- Strong practical knowledge of RCC, foundations and structural construction.
- Good knowledge of architectural and structural drawings.
- Solid project planning, execution and monitoring skills.
- Experience in contractor and subcontractor management.
- Preparation of BOQ, quantity measurement, estimation and contractor billing.
- Strong understanding of construction quality control.
- Excellent leadership and manpower-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to independently manage site execution and project activities.
- Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.
- Immediate joiners or candidates who can join at the earliest will be preferred.

Language Requirements – Mandatory

Candidates must have positive communication skills in:

- Tamil – Fluent
- English – Good
- Hindi – Good
- Kannada – Good

The candidate should be able to communicate effectively with site workers, contractors, engineers, consultants, clients and management in the required languages.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering preferred.
- Candidates with a Diploma in Civil Engineering and exceptional relevant experience may also be considered.
- Proven experience in independently handling complete civil construction projects.
- Experience from project mobilization through completion and handover preferred.




- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, factory, warehouse or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.
- Candidates with a proven track record of completing projects within schedule and budget will be preferred.

Salary & Benefits

₹60,000 – ₹80,000 per month, depending on experience, technical knowledge and project-handling capability.

Higher salary may be considered for exceptional candidates with strong end-to-end project execution experience.
