Associated Deltaway Logistics Pvt. Ltd. (ADLPL), a part of the Golcha Associated Group, is looking for a Deputy Manager - Business Development to strengthen its FTL and 3PL business. This is a remote role with a preferred base in Chennai, responsible for driving business development, acquiring new customers, and expanding key accounts across Chennai and nearby markets. Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Drive new business acquisition for ADLPL across Chennai, Tamil Nadu and the South India market, with responsibility for generating sustainable logistics and transportation revenue.
- New Client Acquisition
- Identify, prospect and onboard new customers requiring road transportation, FTL, dedicated vehicle, primary transportation, secondary transportation and other logistics solutions.
- Build and develop strategic accounts across industries such as manufacturing, chemicals, minerals, FMCG, automotive, engineering, industrial products and other bulk/general cargo segments.
- Develop partnerships with established logistics companies, 3PL operators, transporters and freight-management companies where ADLPL can provide its own fleet and transportation capacity.
- Coordinate and manage day-to-day transportation and logistics operations for customers within Tamil Nadu and other South India locations.
- Ensure optimum utilisation of ADLPL-owned trucks by generating regular loads, reducing idle time,



increasing vehicle productivity and improving overall fleet profitability.
- Identify profitable transportation lanes, industrial clusters, origin-destination routes and potential backhaul opportunities across South India and pan-India routes.Build strong relationships with logistics heads, supply-chain heads, purchase teams, plant heads and other decision-makers at customer organisations.
- Prepare logistics proposals, negotiate freight rates, credit terms and commercial conditions, participate in tenders/RFQs and close commercially viable contracts.
- Understand transportation costing including freight rates, fuel impact, tolls, route expenses, detention and vehicle utilisation to ensure competitive pricing while protecting margins.
- Coordinate with drivers, fleet teams, transport coordinators, customers and internal operations teams for vehicle placement, loading, dispatch, tracking and timely delivery.
- Handle operational escalations including vehicle delays, detention, documentation issues, delivery concerns and customer complaints, ensuring quick and professional resolution.
- Maintain a structured pipeline of prospects, leads, quotations, negotiations and closures, and regularly report business development activities, revenue, vehicle utilisation and opportunities.
- Track prevailing freight rates, competitor activity, major customers, new industrial projects, transport requirements and logistics developments in the South India market.
- Function as ADLPL's key representative for South India, progressively building the company's customer base, logistics network, operational capabilities, revenue and regional profitability.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
