Key Responsibilities1. Personalised Nutrition Consultation
- Conduct professional online consultations with clients.
- Understand the client's health goals, dietary habits, lifestyle, food preferences, allergies or intolerances disclosed by the client, and relevant health information.
- Review relevant medical information and reports provided by the client where appropriate.
- Conduct comprehensive dietary and lifestyle assessments.
- Provide personalised nutrition and dietary guidance within the professional's qualifications, competence, and legally permitted scope of practice.
- Maintain a respectful, empathetic, non-judgmental, and women-centric consultation approach.
2. Women's Nutrition and Wellness Support
Depending on qualifications, experience, and qualified scope, provide nutrition and lifestyle support for areas such as:
- Women's general nutrition and wellness
- Healthy weight management
- PCOS/PCOD-related nutrition and lifestyle support
- Menstrual health nutrition support
- Lifestyle and metabolic wellness
- Pre-conception nutrition support
- Pregnancy nutrition support, where appropriately qualified and coordinated with the treating doctor
- Postpartum nutrition
- Breastfeeding and maternal nutrition support, within professional competence
- Menopause and healthy ageing nutrition
- Iron and other nutritional deficiency-related dietary support
- Digestive wellness
- Healthy lifestyle and preventive nutrition
All recommendations must remain within the professional's competence and scope of practice.
3. Personalised Diet and Nutrition Planning
The empanelled Dietitian/Nutritionist will:
- Develop personalised and practical nutrition plans.
- Consider the client's dietary preferences, cultural practices, lifestyle, budget, and daily routine.
- Provide realistic meal and nutrition recommendations.
- Recommend sustainable lifestyle modifications.
- Modify nutrition plans based on follow-up assessments and client progress.
- Clearly explain how clients can implement recommendations in their daily lives.
The professional should avoid unnecessary restrictive diets and unsupported claims.
Risk Identification and Referral
The professional must recognise situations requiring medical assessment or specialist referral.
Examples may include:
- Severe or unexplained symptoms.
- Significant or rapid unexplained weight changes.
- Suspected eating disorders or severe nutritional concerns.
- Pregnancy-related warning signs.
- Symptoms requiring medical diagnosis.
- Hormonal or metabolic concerns requiring medical evaluation.
- Any situation beyond the professional's competence.
Where appropriate, the client should be advised to consult a qualified medical practitioner or seek urgent medical care.
Consultation Documentation
The professional will be expected to:
- Maintain accurate consultation records.
- Document relevant client information.
- Record assessments, goals, recommendations, and follow-up plans.
- Complete required documentation through the platform or approved systems.
- Maintain client confidentiality at all times.
8. Skilled and Ethical Standards
The empanelled professional must:
- Provide evidence-informed and responsible nutrition guidance.
- Avoid misleading or exaggerated claims.
- Avoid guaranteeing specific outcomes.
- Avoid promoting products or supplements based solely on commercial incentives.
- Disclose any potential conflict of interest.
- Maintain professional boundaries with clients.
- Respect client privacy and confidentiality.
- Follow platform quality standards and consultation SOPs.
Eligibility RequirementsFor Dietitians
Candidates should possess an appropriate qualification in:
- Dietetics
- Clinical Nutrition
- Nutrition and Dietetics
- Food and Nutrition
from a recognised institution, along with relevant professional training and experience.
For Nutritionists
Candidates should possess an appropriate recognised qualification in:
- Nutrition
- Clinical Nutrition
- Nutrition and Dietetics
- Food Science and Nutrition
- Related relevant discipline
from a recognised institution.
Candidates must be eligible to provide the services they offer in accordance with applicable laws, skilled standards, qualifications, and scope of practice.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
