Key Responsibilities

- Create and refine complex mechanical systems and components using Fusion 360 and AutoCAD.
- Develop detailed 3D models, assembly drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation.
- Generate URDF models for robotic simulation and ROS integration
- Conduct simulations (stress, thermal, structural analysis) and validate designs for performance and durability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—manufacturing, electronics, robotics—to ensure design feasibility at scale
- Participate in design reviews, vendor coordination, and prototype development/testing.

Must-Have Qualifications

- Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 4+ years in mechanical/CAD design roles, ideally in robotics, machinery, or heavy equipment.
- Advanced proficiency with Fusion 360 and AutoCAD. Experience with SolidWorks or Siemens NX is a plus.
- Proven experience generating URDF for ROS-compatible robotic models.
- Strong grasp of mechanical linkages, actuators, GD&T;, structural and thermal analysis
