Job Description – Civil Engineer

Position: Civil Engineer – Building & Interior Projects
Experience: 2–8 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise day-to-day building construction and civil works at the project site.
- Execute and monitor excavation, foundation, RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing works.
- Read and interpret architectural, structural, and interior drawings.
- Check reinforcement, shuttering, concrete, levels, dimensions, alignment, and workmanship as per approved drawings.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, interior designers, MEP teams, contractors, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Supervise interior finishing works, including false ceiling, gypsum partition, flooring, tiling, painting, wall paneling, carpentry, doors, glass, aluminium, and furniture-related works.
- Ensure proper coordination between civil, interior, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC works.
- Monitor quality of construction and interior works and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Check material quality, quantities, and proper utilization at site.
- Prepare daily progress reports, measurements, checklists, and other project documentation.
- Assist in BOQ, quantity estimation, measurements, contractor billing,



and material requirements.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion as per schedule.
- Coordinate with contractors and resolve day-to-day technical and site-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and site procedures.
- Inspect completed works and ensure rectification of defects and finishing issues.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- Strong knowledge of building construction and civil engineering works.
- Practical knowledge of interior execution and finishing works.
- Good understanding of RCC, masonry, plastering, flooring, waterproofing, and finishing.
- Knowledge of false ceiling, partitions, painting, tiling, carpentry, wall finishes, and furniture installation.
- Ability to understand and coordinate architectural, structural, and interior drawings.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office/Excel.
- Valuable communication, coordination, supervision, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.
- Knowledge of quality control, measurements, BOQ, and billing.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in building construction along with interior execution/project work will be preferred.

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
