This is an accountable leadership role — you'll own the quality position of a regulated data domain, defend it before senior governance forums, and hold the line with platform and architecture teams on the basis of evidence. The ideal candidate can step into an in-flight, executive-visible programme and be credible in front of a Chief Data Officer within weeks.What You Will OwnData quality position of the IT Service domain — profiling, measurement, remediation planning and reported quality scoresData quality rules and guardrails — preventive and detective controls across source systems and the DQ platformCritical Data Element (CDE) governance — register ownership, golden-source assignments, governing rulesData governance operating model — driving Domain Data Owner and Data Steward appointments to completionRemediation across operating entities — converting findings into owned worklists and following through to closureRegulatory evidence — ensuring the data chain is complete,



traceable and audit-readyStakeholder management — representing the stream at architecture and steering forumsEssential ExperienceServiceNow platform depth (critical requirement)CSDM object model — business services, technical services, service offerings, application servicesCMDB — class hierarchy, CI relationships, certification, identification and reconciliationService Portfolio Management and platform literacy (table/dictionary structure, reference qualifiers)Experience with ServiceNow integrations and downstream referential integrity issuesData quality & Governance leadership10+ years in data management, with significant time leading DQ/governance at enterprise scale in a regulated industryDemonstrable end-to-end ownership of a data domain, not just contributionStrong command of DQ dimensions, profiling, rule design and remediation prioritisationExperience embedding ownership/stewardship models, including stakeholder buy-inHands-on exposure to a DQ platform (Informatica IDMC, Collibra, Ataccama, Talend or equivalent)Regulatory & Risk contextExperience delivering against a regulatory obligation — ideally DORA, or BCBS 239, GDPR, Solvency IIUnderstanding of how IT risk/control data links to service dataFinancial services, insurance or another regulated sector preferredDesirableServiceNow CIS certification (Discovery, CMDB or ITSM) or CSDM accreditationCDMP or DAMA-DMBOK familiarityExperience with large ServiceNow migrations/consolidationsGroup-and-operating-entity experienceGerman language a plus; working language is English
