This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you'll build and maintain the pipelines, Lakehouse objects, and semantic model integrations that power our Microsoft Fabric platform — working to designs and standards set by our Fabric Data Lead.⚠️Only Immediate Joiners May ApplyWhat You'll Do:Build and maintain Fabric pipelines and notebooks for ingestion and transformation across bronze/silver/gold layersDevelop and maintain Lakehouse and Warehouse tables, ensuring data quality and following agreed naming/workspace conventionsIntegrate datasets into Power BI semantic models; support and troubleshoot Direct Lake mode implementationsWork through a structured Code → Review → DevOps → Deployment pipelineMonitor and flag CU spikes or performance issues; optimise notebook/pipeline performance under guidance from the LeadFix defects and production hotfixes within agreed SLAs; contribute to root-cause analysis for incidents attributable to own workMaintain governance documentation — asset catalogues, ownership registers, and lineage for all owned assetsApply data lifecycle/retention rules, row-level security, and sensitivity labelling as defined by the governance framework✅ Must-Have Skills:3–7 years' experience in a data engineering roleMinimum 1 year of hands-on Microsoft Fabric project experienceSolid SQL and Python/PySpark proficiency for pipeline and notebook developmentWorking knowledge of medallion (bronze/silver/gold) architectureComfortable working within a defined CI/CD and code-review process⭐ Positive to Have:Relevant Microsoft certification (e.G., DP-700)Location:Offshore staff-augmentation role — dedicated FTE, working closely with an Australian-based teamIf you enjoy building reliable, well-tested data platforms and want to deepen your expertise in Microsoft Fabric within a structured, governance-driven engineering environment, we'd love to hear from you.DM or send your profile to
