Hiring: GCC Leader / India Center Head

1. THE OPPORTUNITY

Our client is a leading global organization with a significant global operating footprint. The organization is strengthening its India presence and seeks an exceptional GCC Leader / India Center Head to lead the next phase of growth and transformation.

This is a high-impact enterprise leadership position covering strategy, scale, talent, operations, financial performance, global stakeholder management and transformation.

The leader will build a strategic value-creation, innovation and transformation hub—not simply a delivery center.

2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

GCC Strategy & Growth

- Define and execute the India GCC strategy with global leadership.
- Develop India into a strategic global capability and innovation hub.
- Identify new functions, capabilities and Centers of Excellence.
- Own the growth roadmap, operating model and expansion agenda.

Global Stakeholder Management

- Build trusted relationships with global business, functional and C-suite leaders.
- Translate global priorities into India capability and execution plans.
- Establish governance, KPIs, SLAs and executive communication.
- Position India as a strategic business partner.

Scale, Transformation & Technology

- Lead significant organizational growth and new capability build-out.
- Drive automation, AI/GenAI, data, analytics and digital transformation.
- Improve productivity, quality, speed and scalability.
- Create a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Talent, Culture & Operations

- Build a high-caliber senior leadership team and succession pipeline.
- Attract, develop and retain leadership and specialist talent.
- Own operating budget, productivity, risk, controls and continuity.




- Build a high-performance culture and differentiated employee experience.

3. MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

- 17+ years of overall experience, with 8–10+ years in senior GCC/GBS/shared-services/global delivery leadership.
- Proven experience building, scaling or transforming a GCC; ideally 500+ employees and preferably 1,000+.
- Strong global stakeholder and C-suite management, including US/European/global headquarters.
- Ownership of a significant operating budget with strong business and financial acumen.
- Track record of building senior leadership teams and organizational capabilities.
- Experience driving transformation, automation, AI or digital initiatives.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication and influencing skills.

4. GOOD TO HAVE

- Financial Services, Investment Management, Private Equity, Alternative Investments or Real Estate experience.
- Experience supporting a global investment or asset-management organization.
- Experience with leading global organizations or their portfolio companies.
- Experience establishing a new GCC or significantly expanding an existing center.
- Multi-function leadership across Technology, Finance, Analytics, HR, Operations, Legal or Corporate Services.
- Enterprise-scale GenAI/intelligent automation and full operating/P&L; ownership.
- Experience managing 1,500–3,000+ employees, international exposure, M&A;/carve-outs/integrations.
