Radha by Rapid Rashmi (Bengaluru) is a fast-growing saree retail brand with 3 stores, 50+ employees, and an expanding retail and operations team. As we scale, we are looking for an experienced Head of Human Resources who can build strong HR systems, develop our people, and create the processes required for the next phase of growth.

This is a hands-on leadership role. We are looking for someone who can think strategically but is equally comfortable getting involved in recruitment, employee issues, store operations, performance management and day-to-day HR.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the complete HR function across all stores and the corporate/operations team
- Build and implement HR policies, SOPs and processes suitable for a growing retail organisation
- Lead recruitment and manpower planning for stores, sales, operations and corporate roles
- Improve employee onboarding, induction and training processes
- Monitor attendance, leave, shifts, weekly offs and manpower deployment across stores
- Develop performance management systems including KRAs, KPIs, appraisals and performance improvement plans.
- Work closely with Store Managers and department heads to improve employee productivity and accountability.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters and conflict resolution
- Drive employee engagement, retention and workplace culture
- Create clear career paths, promotion frameworks and incentive structures
- Oversee payroll inputs, statutory compliance,



PF/ESI and other HR documentation in coordination with finance/accounts
- Maintain employee records, HRMS and documentation
- Develop policies around hiring, probation, confirmation, transfers, increments, exits and full & final settlements
- Track HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, recruitment turnaround time and manpower cost
- Build an HR team as the organisation continues to expand

What We Are Looking For
- Strong experience in HR leadership or HR management, preferably in retail, hospitality, consumer businesses or other large frontline workforces
- Experience handling 50+ employees across multiple locations
- Strong understanding of recruitment, employee relations, performance management and HR operations
- Knowledge of applicable labour laws and statutory HR compliance
- Ability to work directly with founders and senior management
- Strong communication and people-management skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing organisation where processes are continuously evolving
- Someone who is practical, structured, firm when required and approachable to employees

Radha is currently operating 3 retail stores with 50+ employees and is continuing to grow. The person joining us will have the opportunity to build the HR function for a rapidly scaling retail brand rather than simply manage an already-established HR system.
