Role Description The Assistant Professor (Cardiovascular Technology) will deliver lectures, practical sessions, and tutorials aligned with the cardiovascular technology curriculum in an on-site setting in Bengaluru. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing teaching materials, supervising clinical and lab-based training, and guiding learners on qualified and academic projects. The role involves assessing learner performance, maintaining academic records, and providing mentorship and academic advising.



The Assistant Professor will collaborate with colleagues to update course content, ensure alignment with current industry standards, and participate in departmental meetings and institutional initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in cardiovascular technology or related discipline, with knowledge of diagnostic procedures, equipment, and clinical practices.
- Experience in classroom and laboratory teaching, including curriculum delivery, learner assessment, and academic mentoring.
- Ability to integrate industry-relevant skills and case studies into teaching, supporting Emversity's focus on employability and practical training.
- Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging diverse learners and collaborating with academic and industry partners.
- Master's degree or higher in Cardiovascular Technology, Cardiology, Allied Health Sciences, or a closely related field; relevant certifications or clinical experience are an advantage.
- Commitment to inclusive teaching practices, continuous professional development, and adherence to institutional and regulatory guidelines.
