Role Description This is a part time remote Consultant Endocrinologist role. The Consultant Endocrinologist will evaluate and manage patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, metabolic bone disease, reproductive endocrinology, and other hormonal conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting outpatient consultations, reviewing investigations and imaging, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and adjusting therapies based on clinical response and guidelines.



The Consultant Endocrinologist will also contribute to clinical protocols, documentation in the digital health record, patient education, and quality improvement initiatives, while upholding high standards of clinical governance, ethics, and patient safety.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Medicine and Endocrinology, with demonstrable experience managing a broad range of endocrine disorders.
- Advanced expertise in Diabetes care, including complex Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes management, complications prevention, and lifestyle interventions.
- Experience or training in Pediatric Endocrinology, including growth disorders, pubertal issues, and pediatric diabetes, is highly desirable.
- Understanding of Cardiology aspects relevant to endocrine and metabolic disease, such as cardiovascular risk assessment and management.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine or Endocrinology (MD/DM or equivalent), with valid medical registration.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and comfort working in a technology-enabled, AI-supported clinical environment.
- Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, continuous learning, ethical care, and patient-centered decision-making.
