Job Descr iptionL3/L2 Production Support Analyst – Banking & Capital M arkets Role Ov erview The L3 Production Support Analyst is responsible for providing advanced technical and functional support for mission-critical trading, risk, payments, treasury, and capital markets applications. The role ensures system stability, rapid incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement of production plat forms. This position operates within a 24x7 support model and collaborates with development, infrastructure, business stakeholders, and external ve ndors. Key Responsibi lities Production Incident Mana gement Act as Level 2/3 escalation point for high-severity (P1/P2) inci dents. Lead triage calls and drive resolution withi n SLA. Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across application, middleware, database, and infrastructure l ayers. Own post-incident RCA documentation and preventive action plans. Application & System S upport Support front-office, middle-office, and back-office sy stems. Monitor trade lifecycle flows (trade capture → validation → settlement → repor ting). Analyze trade breaks, reconciliation issues, settlement fai lures.



Provide data fixes in production (under governance and change con trol). Technical Troublesh ooting Strong hands-on debuggi ng in: Unix/Linux scr iptingSQL (Oracle / SQL Server / S ybase)Log analysis using any of tools like Splunk, Kibana, Dynatrace, App Dyn amics. Release & Change Mana gement Validate production deploy ments. Perform smoke testing post-re lease. Review impact analysis for production ch anges. Support weekend releases and major rol louts. Automation & Stability Engin eering Develop automation scripts for health checks and recurring i ssues. Identify repetitive incidents and implement permanent fixes. Improve monitoring coverage and alert t uning. Drive shift-left initiatives to reduce ticket vo lumes. Regulatory & Compliance Awa reness Ensure adherence to audit and compliance require ments. Support regulatory reporting sy stems. Maintain production controls aligned with banking pol icies.
