The AGM / DGM finance position is a controllership role with a key focus on fixed asset management across the lifecycle

Client Details

A manufacturing MNC based in Halol, Gujarat.

Description

- Play a key role in end-to-end Fixed Assets management of the Company with positive size of Asset base
- Creating SOP's , policies and process as per the growth need of the company
- Support and maintain systems used for financial reporting and make necessary upgrades as per requirement of the management
- Support in closure of various Internal & External Audits related to FA (Statutory, Tax ITGC/IFC Controls, etc.) as per requirement.
- Implement standardization and automation of business processes, where applicable.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for Monthly Reporting/Financial Closings as per the defined deadlines

- CWIP clearance - ageing
- Depreciation runs

Deliver ongoing tracking, reporting and assessment of the Function's performance

- Budgeted New Investment
- Project evaluation
- Tracking of actuals (PR's - PO - booking etc)
- Cash flow requirement planning basis project plan

Review / implement Control processes to minimize business risk to the Company

- Assets tagging
- Physical Stock Count with Operations/SCM/Purchases/ IT/ relevant Teams
- Provide reports, analysis,



presentations for Finance & Functional leaderships with improvement plans
- Support and implement continuous improvement ideas and innovation to enhance the cost efficiency and effectiveness of process/tools
- Support any urgent / unplanned request for special project / Business cases

Profile

Skills/Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline required
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred
- 14+ Years of relevant Accounting/Finance experience in manufacturing set-up is a must
- Significant experience managing a large base of fixed assets will be preferred
- Previous experience in a fast paced, manufacturing environment is required
- Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to meet tight, multiple deadlines and handle various projects and tasks.
- Strong systems and data management skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel and PowerPoint.
- SAP experience must
