Role Description The Delegate Acquisition role is a full time, on-site position based in Mumbai. The delegate acquisition specialist is responsible for identifying, approaching, and confirming relevant delegates for B2B conferences, events, and programs. Day-to-day tasks include researching target audiences, building prospect lists, conducting outreach via phone, email, and digital channels, and maintaining accurate records in event management systems. The role involves coordinating with marketing and event teams to align delegate profiles with event objectives, managing follow-ups, tracking registrations, and ensuring a positive delegate experience before and after the event.



The specialist is also expected to meet acquisition targets, report performance metrics, and support continuous improvement of outreach strategies.

Qualifications

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with senior business leaders and industry professionals.
- Proficiency in research, lead generation, and CRM or database management to identify and track potential delegates.
- Experience with email outreach, calling, and basic digital communication tools to drive registrations and confirm attendance.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple events, deadlines, and follow-up activities efficiently.
- Analytical skills to monitor acquisition performance, interpret data, and refine outreach strategies.
- Previous experience in events, media, sales, business development, or customer engagement is an advantage.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
