Position: Purchase Manager
Location: Kochi
Qualification: Any Graduate / Postgraduate
Experience: Minimum 5+ Years of experience in Purchase / Procurement, preferably in Refrigeration, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related industries
Salary: *Upto 7.8 Lacs
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure timely availability of quality materials, components, equipment, and services through effective purchase planning.
* Manage end-to-end procurement activities in line with business and operational requirements.
* Identify, evaluate, develop, and maintain reliable vendors and suppliers.
* Conduct commercial negotiations with vendors to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
* Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, material availability, and supplier commitments.
* Coordinate closely with internal departments to understand material requirements and ensure timely procurement.
* Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
* Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.




* Maintain proper procurement documentation, purchase records, and vendor-related data.
* Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and established processes.
* Support cost-control initiatives and identify opportunities for savings and process improvement.
* Develop strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Coordinate with management and relevant departments for critical procurement requirements.
* Ensure disciplined procurement follow-through from purchase planning to material receipt.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of Purchase, Procurement, Vendor Management, Commercial Negotiation, Inventory Planning, and Supply Chain processes.
* Strong skills in communication, negotiation, networking, influencing, and stakeholder management.
* Valuable working knowledge of MS Office and ERP/procurement systems.
* High level of integrity, accountability, and strong interpersonal skills.
