Job Title: Manager Project Quality

Purpose of the Position

The Manager - Project Quality oversees Project Field Quality Assurance, Asset Operations Quality, Site Material Quality Acceptance Tests, and final handing over with the internal team. This role ensures timely reporting of non-conformances related to process, incoming quality management, workmanship, and overall system implementation according to the approved Project Quality Plan at the site. Responsibilities also include conducting Critical to Quality Training, Quality Toolbox Talks, material inspections, business partner and subcontractor assessments, process audits, and in-process quality checks. The goal is to ensure compliance with standards and approved technical documents while promoting continuous improvement.

Profile and Qualifications

- Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.

- Experience: 10 to 12 years of experience in the Wind Renewable Energy, Solar, and T&D; sectors.

- Certifications: Certified Lead Auditor QMS-9001/45001/14001 is desirable.

- Languages: English, Hindi, and Kannada, with proficiency in Hindi and English.

- Key Result Areas (KRAs): Theoretical and functional knowledge for understanding quality, technical ICT skills, communication skills for internal and external stakeholders, and critical thinking abilities.

Contribution and Communication

- Financial Contribution: Reviews Contractor WCC JMC and other documents as per OEM GL and Internal Business process management.

- Non-Financial Contribution: Implements a proactive quality approach to drive continuous improvement,



ensures early identification and reporting of non-conformances, and provides support for Site Field Quality Assurance (FQA) and 3rd Party Audits.

- Internal Communication: Collaborates with the HO QHSES Team, Project Execution & Engineering Team, Asset Operations Team, and the SCM, Admin & Procurement Team.

- External Communication: Liaises with Contractors, Subcontractors, Third Party Service Providers, Business Partner Supply, and External Laboratories.

Key Areas of Responsibility

1. Project Quality Management

- Inspects foundation casting, WTG mechanical installation, 66 KV and 33kV lines, EHV and tower erection, and PSS according to FQAPs/OEM GL and approved tech specs.

- Creates records for Incoming SAT Hoto and in-process quality checks at the site.

- Conducts monthly storage audits and shares reports with stakeholders.

- Performs regular quality audits to monitor FQAP and OEM compliance, ensuring execution meets quality standards.

- Measures: Site inspection checklists with backup documents, monthly NCR and observation trackers, and monthly contractual compliance reports.

2. Asset Operations Quality Management





- Conducts site quality audits and inspections as planned and prepares inspection reports.

- Supports the Asset Operations team in identifying and improving operations and maintenance activities to meet quality standards.

- Measures: Site inspection checklists with backup documents, monthly NCR and observation trackers, and monthly contractual compliance reports.

3. Supplier Quality Management

- Inspects major components (Nacelle, Hub, Towers, Blades, PSS, Conductor, Cable OPGW, Sub Station Items) based on CQIP/GTP/TS during receipt and technical clearance.

- Reviews non-conformance management for inspected components to ensure closure.

- Manages TPIA at the site to verify supplied materials meet quality requirements.

- Measures: Number of NCs observed, TPIA deployment status, and material SAT reports.

4. Quality Management System Implementation

- Supports key functions at the site in preparing core processes.

- Promotes continuous improvement by analyzing observations/NCs to ensure the implementation of the Quality Management System and EDFR guidelines.

- Measures: Preparation and implementation of processes, along with third-party and compliance audits.

Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ)

The manager integrates the Group's Health, Safety, Environment, and Corporate Quality regulations and directives into the organization. The role requires applying HSEQ policies to all activities, paying particular attention to personal health and safety, the well-being of surrounding people, and the protection of the setting.
