Experience: 10 plus years in data centre / infrastructure engineering (trading/HFT experience strongly preferred)

About the role

Own the physical and logical infrastructure that powers ultra-low-latency trading systems. You'll design, deploy and maintain rack layouts, structured cabling, servers and network hardware across primary data centres and colocation sites—working closely with network, systems and trading-technology teams.

This is a hands-on role where clean builds, precise documentation and fast, safe changes directly impact trading performance and resilience.

What you'll do

- Design and implement low-latency data centre infrastructure: rack layouts, power, cooling, cable paths and connectivity plans.
- Perform rack-and-stack of servers, switches, trading appliances and specialist hardware; manage asset lifecycles.
- Install, test and maintain structured cabling (fibre and copper): LC/MPO/MTP, patch panels, transceivers, SFPs/QSFPs.
- Configure and support high-speed network hardware (10/25/40/100GbE+) from vendors such as Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Mellanox/NVIDIA.
- Work with Linux server hardware and remote management (iLO, iDRAC,



IPMI); perform firmware/BIOS/BMC updates and hardware diagnostics.

What we're looking for

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics/Telecommunications or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- Hands-on data centre experience in latency-sensitive environments (trading/HFT, exchanges, financial infrastructure).
- Solid knowledge of data centre design: power distribution, redundancy, rack capacity, environmental considerations and best practices.
- Proven experience with structured cabling: fibre (LC, MPO, MTP) and copper (Cat6/Cat6a), cable dressing and management.
- Practical experience deploying and supporting servers, switches and network appliances in production.

Nice to have

- Exposure to low-latency trading infrastructure: kernel-bypass NICs, FPGA/SmartNIC appliances, PTP/NTP timing.
- Experience with colocation projects across APAC exchanges and data centres.
- Scripting/automation for provisioning or validation (Python, Bash, Ansible).
- Vendor certifications (Arista, Cisco, Juniper) or data centre design credentials.
