Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. The role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, assisting with budgeting, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring accuracy in financial records. The Accountant will also handle tax-related documentation, support statutory compliance, and coordinate with internal teams and external auditors as required. This position involves maintaining organized financial documentation, using accounting software, and providing timely financial reports to management.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including experience with general ledger management,



accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting and analysis, such as preparing financial statements, supporting budgeting, and monitoring cash flow.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation and compliance, including basic understanding of local tax regulations, statutory filings, and audit support.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting and office software, ideally including widely used accounting tools (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Excel.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and the ability to maintain organized financial records.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, management, and external partners.
- A bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (such as CA/CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Relevant experience in an accounting or finance role, particularly within consulting or services organizations, will be beneficial.
