Key Responsibilities

- Machine Operation: Start, stop, and monitor pneumatic machinery, air pressures, sealers, and automated feeds during production runs.
- Setup and Adjustments: Calibrate air pressure controls, change out molds or dies, and load packing materials (films, boxes, or pouches).
- Quality Control: Inspect finished packages for correct weight, tight seals, and proper labeling before sending them to the warehouse.
- Troubleshooting: Transparent minor pneumatic or mechanical jams, replace worn gaskets or valves, and report major breakdowns to maintenance.
- Maintenance & Sanitation: Lubricate parts, clean debris from pneumatic lines, and keep the immediate workspace tidy.
- Record Keeping: Log production output, downtime reasons, and routine maintenance checks. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Qualifications and Skills

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of pneumatic systems, air pressure regulators, and basic mechanical aptitude.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift moderate to heavy items (up to 50 lbs).
- Safety Focus: Strict adherence to factory safety rules, lockout/tagout procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines
