Key Responsibilities

- Perform shaping, fitting, and assembly of mechanical components and sub assemblies as per drawings and specifications
- Disassemble equipment and components for inspection, maintenance, and repair
- Carry out filter maintenance, including cleaning, replacement, and routine upkeep of filtration systems
- Machine mechanical parts using hand tools, power tools, and basic workshop machinery
- Assist in the installation, alignment, and commissioning of mechanical equipment
- Inspect finished parts and assemblies to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and the work area in a clean and safe condition
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures during fitting, machining, and maintenance activities
- Report equipment issues, wear, or malfunctions to the shift supervisor promptly
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work completed




- Support other production and maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications

- ITI certification in Mechanical Fitter trade (or equivalent trade certification)
- 0 to 1 years of relevant work experience; freshers are encouraged to apply
- Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic machining equipment
- Ability to read and follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines

Preferred Skills

- Prior hands on experience with filter systems and mechanical maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Exposure to precision fitting and assembly work
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Understanding of workplace safety practices in a manufacturing or process industry environment
- Willingness to learn and work with specialized equipment used in nanomaterial manufacturing
- Good teamwork and communication skills within a shop floor environment
