- Optimize existing formulas. Improving cleaning efficiency, reducing production costs, or replacing ingredients with eco-friendly alternatives.
- Select fragrances and colorants. Choosing reliable dyes and scents that can withstand highly acidic or alkaline environments without degrading.
- Conduct stability testing. Exposing formulas to varying temperatures and light conditions to ensure the product does not separate, change color, or lose potency over time.

Quality Assurance (QA) & Quality Control (QC)

- Test raw materials. Analyzing incoming chemicals to verify their purity and concentration before they are used in production.
- In-process batch testing. Testing samples from the manufacturing tank (checking pH, viscosity, and active ingredient levels) before the batch is sent to the bottling line.
- Analyze finished goods. Ensuring the final bottled product meets all specified benchmarks for performance and safety.
- Calibrate laboratory equipment. Maintaining and calibrating instruments like pH meters, viscometers, and titrators to ensure accurate test results.
