Import & Logistics ExecutiveIndustry: Plastic Raw Material Trading

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 2–5 Years

- Job ResponsibilitiesHandle end-to-end import shipments of plastic raw materials, including shipment tracking and delivery coordination.
- Coordinate with overseas suppliers, shipping lines, freight forwarders, CHA/customs brokers, CFS and transporters.
- Check and maintain import documents including Invoice, Packing List, BL/SWB, Certificate of Origin and Bill of Entry.
- Coordinate with CHA for customs clearance, Bill of Entry filing, duty payment and container release.
- Track container movement, ETA, delivery and empty container return.
- Maintain inventory/stock records by product, grade, quantity, supplier and warehouse.
- Monitor detention, demurrage, CFS, port, freight and transportation charges and highlight discrepancies.




- Maintain shipment-wise records and prepare regular import, inventory and logistics reports.
- Coordinate with sales, purchase, accounts and warehouse teams for smooth movement of material.
- Requirements2–5 years of experience in Import/Export, Logistics or Trading.
- Knowledge of Indian customs procedures and Bill of Entry.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and documentation.
- Robust follow-up, coordination and communication skills.
- Experience in plastic/polymer/chemical/commodity trading will be an advantage.
- Candidate should be responsible, detail-oriented and capable of independently handling multiple shipments.
