Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to handle the mechanical installation and integration of an electric propulsion system for a manned marine training vessel . Key Responsibilities Install and align the propulsion motor with the shafting system. Design or modify motor foundations, brackets and mountings. Coordinate motor coupling, shaft, stern tube and propeller installation. Carry out shaft and motor alignment. Coordinate fabrication and machining work. Assist with mechanical integration of the electric steering system. Supervise installation of windlasses and associated equipment. Check machinery clearances,



vibration and mechanical performance. Troubleshoot alignment, vibration and mechanical installation issues. Support commissioning, harbour trials and sea trials. Maintain mechanical drawings and installation records. Qualification Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or a related discipline . Preferred Skills Marine propulsion, shaft alignment, couplings, stern tubes, bearings, rotating machinery, fabrication and mechanical installation.
