We're looking for an experienced Zendesk Developer to help build, customize, and administer our Zendesk implementation. This starts as a part-time contract engagement with the opportunity to transition to full-time based on fit and business need.

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Zendesk experience, spanning both development and administration
- Strong knowledge of the Zendesk Apps Framework (ZAF) and Sunshine platform for custom app development
- Proficiency with Zendesk APIs (REST and GraphQL)



and JavaScript/Node.js
- Hands-on experience with Zendesk Support administration: triggers, automations, macros, business rules, SLAs, and views
- Experience configuring ticket forms, fields, and multi-brand / multi-channel routing
- Familiarity with Zendesk Guide (knowledge base setup and customization) and Zendesk Talk (as applicable)
- Experience with user role and permission management, groups, and organizations
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in an async, remote setup

Nice to Have
- Experience integrating Zendesk with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Experience with Zendesk Sell or Explore (reporting/analytics)
- Prior work in a consulting or client-facing workplace
