Key Responsibilities:

- Assist senior designers in creating textile and fabric designs.

- Develop patterns, motifs, and colour combinations.

- Use design software like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
n
- Help prepare fabric samples and design presentations.
n
- Do trend research and create mood boards.
n
- Coordinate with sampling and production teams.
n
- Conduct fashion and textile trend research.
n
- Analyse competitor fabrics and global market trends.
n
- Prepare mood boards, colour palettes, and inspiration boards.
n
- Understand fabric structures, yarn types, and weaving techniques.
n
- Support development of current fabric samples and swatches.
n
- Maintain records of fabric libraries and design archives.

nQualification

n

- NIFT OR ANY TEXTILE DIPLOMA IN TEXTILES
n
- Basic knowledge of textile design and fabric.
n
- Creativity and strong colour sense
n
- Knowledge of weaving / textile techniques
n
- Good skills in Photoshop / Illustrator
n
- Ability to translate trends into commercial designs
n
- Good communication and teamwork
