Position Details :

- Workplace Type: Hybrid model consisting of three days from the office and two days working from home. Please note that during the initial two months of onboarding and training, the role is strictly full time on site at our office.
- Office Location: Ratnaakar Nine Square, Opposite ITC Narmada, Vastrapur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Device Requirement: In accordance with our company policy, we do not provide devices. Candidates must bring and use their own reliable laptop for daily work.
- Remuneration: INR 25,000 to INR 35,000 per month.

Role Overview : As a WordPress Developer at Triffid, you will take full ownership of designing, building, and maintaining robust, high performance websites. Your primary focus will be developing custom WordPress themes, custom WooCommerce stores, and web solutions from the ground up, avoiding off the shelf, pre made themes or bloated visual builders.

This position demands solid frontend and backend technical capabilities. You will work closely with our UI/UX, SEO, and content teams to translate design files and static web pages into pixel perfect, highly performant, secure, and fully manageable WordPress websites optimised for conversions and search engine visibility.

Requirements and Qualifications :

- Build bespoke WordPress websites and WooCommerce stores completely from scratch, adhering to clean coding standards without relying on pre-made themes or bloated page templates.
- Convert Figma, PSD, and PDF UI/UX design mockups into fully responsive, pixel perfect, cross browser compatible,



and accessible WordPress websites.
- Convert existing static HTML/CSS websites into custom dynamic WordPress themes, templates, and structured Gutenberg/ACF blocks.
- Manage, update, and maintain all existing WordPress properties, executing scheduled core, plugin, and server level updates while ensuring zero downtime.
- Hardening site security through proactive protocol implementation, malware scanning, SSL/HTTPS configuration, web application firewall setup, and automated backup routines.
- Optimise website loading speed, database queries, and technical Core Web Vitals to ensure top tier performance on both mobile and desktop devices.
- Collaborate with our digital marketing teams to implement structured data schema, tracking scripts, fast DOM rendering structures, and clean indexing architectures.
- Diagnose and resolve website bugs, layout glitches, hosting configuration issues, and plugin conflicts efficiently.
- Solid understanding of web performance, caching mechanisms, Core Web Vitals optimization, hosting environments (cPanel/cPanel management), and security best practices.
- Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to document technical workflows and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

Our selection process is thorough and designed to assess practical skills-

- Step 1: Application Review and Shortlisting. All submitted applications and credentials will be evaluated against our role requirements.
- Step 2: In Person Interview and Practical Assessment. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to our Ahmedabad office for an initial verbal discussion followed by an on site practical test evaluating research, audit writing, and outreach drafting abilities.
- Step 3: Assessment Review and Final Round. Candidates who successfully pass the practical test will proceed to a final interview round, conducted either in person or via video conference.
- Step 4: Final Selection and Offer. Formal selection decisions and offer letters will be communicated to the successful candidate.
