About the Role

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer with hands-on e-commerce experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should be proficient in developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites, with strong experience in WooCommerce and e-commerce functionality.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
- Build and manage WooCommerce-based e-commerce websites.
- Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and WooCommerce features.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly websites across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
- Integrate payment gateways, shipping methods, and third-party APIs.
- Manage product listings, categories, variations, pricing, coupons, and orders.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, security, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website, plugin, theme, and compatibility issues.
- Implement website updates, backups, and security measures.
- Collaborate with designers, content teams, and clients to deliver website requirements.
- Ensure websites are optimized for conversions and provide a smooth customer experience.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce.
- Positive understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress themes and plugin customization.




- Experience in developing and maintaining e-commerce websites.
- Knowledge of payment gateway and API integrations.
- Understanding of responsive web design.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and website performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Git/version control is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Experience
- Experience working on WooCommerce stores.
- Experience with product catalogs, shopping carts, checkout systems, orders, and payment integrations.
- Experience integrating third-party tools and APIs.
- Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or similar page builders is a plus.
- Experience in website migration and hosting/server management is an added advantage.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant WordPress development experience.
- Candidates with a strong portfolio of WordPress and e-commerce projects are preferred.
