Windchill Developer Experience: 3 to 5 years | Location: Denver, CO or Remote | Engagement: Contractor Role Summary

Seeking a Windchill Developer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience developing and customizing PTC Windchill. The role is focused on coding, configuration, integration, troubleshooting, and technical support for Windchill-based PLM solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and customize Windchill PDMLink solutions using Java and Windchill APIs.
- Build and maintain workflows, lifecycle configurations, business rules, reports, interfaces, and application logic.
- Develop user interface customizations using JSP, JavaScript, HTML, and related Windchill frameworks.
- Create and maintain integrations using REST services, Info*Engine, web services, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Translate functional requirements into technical designs and working code.
- Troubleshoot defects, production issues, performance concerns, and data-related problems.
- Prepare technical documentation, unit tests, deployment instructions, and implementation packages.
- Work with functional analysts, architects, infrastructure teams, and other developers to deliver PLM enhancements.
- Follow coding standards, source-control practices, and established release processes.

Required Skills And Experience

- 3 to 5 years of hands-on Windchill development and customization experience.
- Experience with Windchill PDMLink, preferably version 12 or later.
- Robust Java development skills, including object-oriented programming and debugging.
- Experience with Windchill APIs, services, workflows, lifecycles, object types, and access-control concepts.
- Experience with JSP, JavaScript, HTML, XML, SQL, PL/SQL, and Info*Engine.
- Experience developing or supporting interfaces between Windchill and other enterprise applications.




- Ability to analyze technical issues and deliver reliable fixes with limited supervision.
- Working knowledge of Git or another source-control system.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with ProjectLink, PartsLink, Creo, other CAD integrations, or manufacturing and engineering processes.
- Experience with Windchill build, deployment, upgrade, or system administration activities.
- PTC Windchill certification.
