Core Responsibilities

- Inventory Management: Track stock levels, conduct audits, and reconcile physical inventory with computerized records.

- Inbound and Outbound Operations: Supervise the receipt, inspection, storage, and dispatch of goods.

- Team Supervision: Assign daily tasks, schedule shifts, and assist with staff training.

- Safety and Compliance: Enforce workplace health, security protocols, and government safety standards.

Reporting and Analysis: Generate performance metrics, status reports, and identify opportunities for cost reduction

Key Skills

- Inventory Control: Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and tracking stock accuracy.

- Data Analysis: Ability to read reports, spot inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate digital logs.

- Equipment Operation: Familiarity with safety rules for operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners.

- Logistics Knowledge: Explicit understanding of shipping, receiving,



and supply chain workflows.

- Leadership: Ability to assign tasks, motivate floor workers, and manage team performance.

- Problem-Solving: Quick thinking to fix delayed shipments, damaged goods, or stock shortages.

Communication: Effective interaction with truck drivers, vendors, and upper management.

Time Management: Ability to prioritize urgent tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

- Education: High school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or business administration is preferred.

- Experience: One to three years of hands-on experience in a warehouse, inventory control, or shipping environment.

- Certifications: Valid forklift operator license or completion of OSHA safety training standards is a strong advantage.
