- Plan and manage procurement of raw materials, components, consumables, packaging materials, engineering items, and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and alternate sources.
- Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules, quality requirements, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
- Prepare, review, and approve purchase orders as per company authorization procedures.
- Monitor supplier performance regarding quality, cost, delivery, and service.




- Ensure timely follow-up of purchase orders and prevent material shortages or production interruptions.
- Develop and implement cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives.
- Analyze market trends, material prices, and supplier capabilities to support purchasing decisions.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels in coordination with Stores, Production, Planning, and Finance.
- Develop alternate suppliers to minimize supply-chain risks and dependency on single sources.
- Handle supplier negotiations, commercial disputes, shortages, rejection issues, and delivery delays.
