Job Title: ED Junior Designer II

Team: Powertrain Engineer

Department: ED & BOM

Experience; 4 6 Years

Qualification: B.E / M.E – Mechanical / Automobile

Number of Openings: 4

Location: Chennai

Key Skills: CATIA V5 | 3DX / 3DEXPERIENCE | Teamcenter | GD&T;

Job Responsibilities

- Perform 3D modelling of engine components and assemblies using CATIA V5 / 3DX.
- Create current engine component and assembly drawings for prototype and initial releases.
- Perform packaging, clearance and interference studies for engine components and assemblies.
- Conduct fastener stack-up and linear stack-up analysis.
- Check engineering drawings as per Ford Drafting Standards and ASME GD&T; standards.
- Update 3D models and drawings based on Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).




- Prepare design proposals and perform CAD remastering for engine components and assemblies.
- Create and maintain engine assemblies using CAD and PLM tools.
- Manage engineering data and revisions using Teamcenter.
