Kalliste is a brand and marketing strategy consultancy focused on beauty, wellness, and lifestyle brands. We work with early-stage founders to build brands from the ground up, from positioning and go-to-market strategy to creative execution.

THE ROLE

You'll edit beauty, wellness, and lifestyle videos for social media (Reels, TikToks, short-form content) and longer brand films. You'll own color grading, sound design, pacing, and visual storytelling. You're up-to-date on video trends and understand how to make video content that actually stops the scroll.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing

- Edit short-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) for social platforms

- Edit longer-form brand films, product demos, and storytelling videos

- Color grading and color correction for consistency across brands

- Sound design and audio mixing





- Ensure technical quality (aspect ratios, resolution, file formats for each platform)

Trend & Visual Leadership
- Stay updated on video trends, transitions, effects, and editing styles

- Propose new editing techniques and visual styles based on trends

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in at least 2 professional editing software (Premiere Pro, DaVinci, After Effects, etc.)

- Basic graphic design (can create motion graphics, lower thirds, text overlays)

- Understanding of AI tools for video editing and be open to learning and integrating them

- Technical knowledge: Codecs, export settings, platform specifications

Collaboration
- Work with the Social Media Manager on video concepts and briefs

- Provide feedback on raw footage (what works, what doesn't)

- Guide content creators on how to shoot for better editing outcomes

- Versatile and responsive to last-minute edits and changes

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Experience Required

- 2 years of professional video editing

- Proven portfolio of beauty, wellness, and lifestyle video content

- Experience editing short-form social content and longer brand films

- Understanding of different platforms' requirements and how content performs

Skills Required
- Mastery of professional video editing software (at least 2)

- Color grading and color correction expertise

- Sound design and audio mixing

- Basic motion graphics and graphic design

- Technical: File formats, codecs, export specifications

- Trend awareness: Current video editing trends and effects
