About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Vice President – Travel Business to lead and drive the growth of our travel business. The ideal candidate will have 15 years of strong experience in the travel and tourism industry, with proven expertise in DMC operations, B2B sales, business development, operations management, and large-team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the overall travel business strategy, revenue growth, and profitability.
- Develop and execute business plans to achieve aggressive revenue and growth targets.
- Drive B2B sales and business development across travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and other travel partners.
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with key B2B partners, agents, suppliers, and strategic accounts.
- Lead and expand DMC business operations, ensuring strong destination-level execution and partner management.
- Develop new markets, destinations, products, and revenue streams.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships with domestic and international travel partners.
- Oversee end-to-end travel operations including product contracting, itinerary planning, reservations, vendor coordination, service delivery, and customer experience.
- Ensure operational efficiency, service quality, cost optimization, and profitability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop large cross-functional teams across sales, operations, contracting, product, and customer service.
- Establish sales KPIs, operational KPIs, performance metrics,



and accountability frameworks for teams.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, destination developments, and changing customer requirements.
- Work closely with senior management to formulate pricing, product, sales, and expansion strategies.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and contracts with suppliers, hotels, DMCs, airlines, and other strategic partners.
- Ensure strong coordination between Sales, Operations, Product, Finance, and Customer Experience functions.

Mandatory Requirements
- 15 years of experience in the Travel & Tourism industry.
- Mandatory: Proven DMC (Destination Management Company) experience.
- Strong experience in B2B travel sales and business development.
- Proven experience in travel operations management.
- Experience managing and leading large teams/functions.
- Strong network among travel agents, tour operators, corporate travel partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of both sales and operational functions within the travel industry.
- Ability to work at a strategic level while maintaining robust execution capabilities.
