VETERINARIAN – CHICKEN PROCESSING PLANT

Qualification: B.V.Sc & A.H. / M.V.Sc

Experience: Fresher – 2 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct ante-mortem and post-mortem inspection of poultry.
- Monitor chicken health and disease conditions before processing.
- Ensure proper identification and segregation of diseased or unfit birds.
- Monitor hygiene and sanitation throughout the processing plant.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and veterinary standards.
- Monitor carcass quality and condemnation.
- Maintain veterinary inspection and health records.
- Monitor biosecurity and disease prevention practices.
- Coordinate with Production, QA & Food Safety teams.
- Support compliance with applicable government and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements
- B.V.Sc & A.H. / M.V.Sc qualification.
- Knowledge of poultry diseases and meat inspection.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and sanitation.
- Good observation and documentation skills.
- Good coordination with plant and QA teams.
