Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Printer Expert / Printer Technician with strong hands-on experience in the repair, maintenance, troubleshooting and servicing of LaserJet printers, particularly HP printers. The candidate should be capable of diagnosing hardware and printing-related issues and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and maintain HP LaserJet and Color LaserJet printers.
- Handle printer hardware issues including paper jams, printing defects, fuser issues, roller problems, toner-related issues, sensor errors, connectivity issues and mechanical faults.
- Perform preventive maintenance and periodic servicing of printers.
- Replace and troubleshoot printer components such as fuser units, pickup/feed rollers, separation pads, transfer assemblies, sensors, cartridges and other spare parts.
- Configure printers and resolve network, USB and connectivity-related issues.
- Install and configure printer drivers, firmware and required software.
- Identify recurring printer issues and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Maintain records of service calls, repairs,



replaced parts and preventive maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with users/clients to understand and resolve printer-related issues.
- Ensure timely closure of service requests and maintain service quality.
- Printer Experience

Hands-on experience with HP LaserJet / Color LaserJet printers, including but not limited to :

- HP LaserJet M501dn
- HP Color LaserJet 452 series
- HP LaserJet M507dn
- HP LaserJet M403dn
- HP LaserJet M401 series
- Other HP LaserJet printer models
- Experience with multiple HP LaserJet models will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on knowledge of LaserJet printer repair and maintenance.
- Good understanding of printer hardware and mechanical components.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of printer networking and configuration.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple service requests.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Educational Qualification
- ITI / Diploma / Any Graduate with relevant technical experience.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in IT infrastructure support, printer AMC/FMS services, field service or enterprise printer support will be preferred.
